# Developer Experience (DevEx)

#### Solidity Integration

TORUS introduces new data types to Solidity. Developers simply import the TORUS library and use types like euint32 (encrypted unsigned integer) instead of uint32.

#### Programmable Compliance

Privacy on TORUS is not "all or nothing." It is programmable. A developer can write a contract that allows an auditor or a regulator to view specific transaction data if certain conditions are met, bridging the gap between privacy and compliance.
